Ads are everywhere; they sneak up on you like your friendly neighborhood solicitations for a credit card.

While many advertisements pride themselves on being helpful, others take a turn for the weird, the woeful, or just plain ridiculous.

The US-based blog Sad and Useless has curated an exhibit of epic marketing oversights from across the globe, proving that sometimes, advertising agencies need a little more coffee.

Take, for example, Louisiana’s own 102.5 WFMF radio station, which boldly declares they play today’s ‘s**t music.’ One can only assume they meant ‘today’s hit music,’ but that’s a risky gamble when aiming for sound branding!

In Europe, a Scandinavian lorry touts a dazzling blonde’s million-dollar grin. But wait! The black handle attached to her lip introduces a flavor of facial hair that’s decidedly less million-dollar and more half-off at a clearance sale.

Truth or fail? The signage in Baton Rouge makes it clear they’re committed to monetary miscommunication.

Across the seas in Singapore, brochures from a healthcare clinic provide counsel on managing diabetes—except, thanks to some questionable graphic alignments, it looks like they might just be advising folks to ‘win diabetes,’ effectively turning a health issue into a competitive sport.

Here, FEMAIL has gathered a collection of the funniest, most unfortunate, and gloriously misguided duds in the world of advertising. Buckle up!

Billion dollar smile! Something sinister appears to have happened to this woman's smile. At least its not a dental advert

Billion dollar smile! Is there a sinister force at play, or is this just another day in advertising?

At first glance, this Singapore health centre says it's time to 'win diabetes'. Of course they are actually advertising the fight to 'win over' diabetes

At first glance, this Singapore health center wants you to ‘win diabetes’—as if the sugar lobby needed more help!

Lazy or down right hilarious! This magazine layout fail seems to show a woman excreting a rather suspicious liquid. Perhaps both pages need a complete do over

Lazy or downright hilarious? This magazine layout fail has our minds reeling and our eyes screaming for a redo!

Creepy! This Spanish water brand features the stretched out face of a baby on its packaging

Creepy! This Spanish water brand has somehow transformed a baby’s face into a Picasso painting gone wrong.

Conflict of interest! Somewhere in the US, this ad advises you exit McDonald's and take the road straight ahead to diabetes

Conflict of interest! This US ad suggests a leisurely stroll to diabetes right after your Big Mac. Health goals, indeed!
