Trump Takes on Divine Healing—With a Twist

In a bold artistic expression straight from the depths of the digital cosmos, President Donald Trump graced the internet late Sunday with an AI-generated masterpiece depicting him as a Jesus-like figure performing a miracle. The twist? Instead of the usual U.S. soldier at his side—a symbol of valor—there stands a horned creature with wings, clearly auditioning for a role in the next “Hellraiser” movie.
The outcry was instantaneous, as even his most fervent admirers were left clutching their metaphorical pearls. “Blasphemy!” they cried, while simultaneously hitting the “retweet” button. Trump’s divine self-portrait ignited a debate hotter than a Sunday sermon—a truly remarkable feat for an image that sparked as much outrage as it did viral fame.

But the critique didn’t stop there. Observant users—keen eyes sharper than a Holy Cross crucifix—spotted some rather unsettling “demons” in the background. The Bulwark’s culture editor, Sonny Bunch, aptly noted Trump’s questionable entourage accompanying the divine moment, revealing that perhaps the company one keeps is more telling than the miracles performed.
This not-so-original work of art is merely a rehash of an earlier piece created by MAGA influencer Nick Adams back in February, who initially framed it as Trump’s noble quest to “heal” a sick America. The original featured soldiers, awash in patriotic glory, which is a far cry from the winged creature now materializing in his latest revisionist rendition. One can only hope the creature has an excellent healthcare plan.
Eagle-eyed Twitter user @Mend_alyn was quick to deliver the side-by-side comparison of the images, proving once again that social media is the new art critique platform for today’s most pressing issues. Meanwhile, MAGA influencer Matt Wallace leveraged his 2.3 million followers to join the “Spot the Difference” game, giving Dr. Seuss’s classic works a run for their money. Perhaps in a world focused on true differences, he could teach us a thing or two about coherence.
It remains a tantalizing mystery where this image came from or if it had received some top-notch editing by the self-proclaimed magicians on Trump’s team. Rumor has it the creature is scheduled to appear in a future campaign rally where Trump promises to heal the nation one subscriber at a time.
The President’s enchanting portrayal of himself as a modern-day prophet certainly raises questions about the boundaries of iconography—and perhaps even the laws of good taste. If only text on hats could escape from the purgatory of artificial jumbles, we’d all be better off. But alas, the spectacle continues, blending faith and folly into a digital tapestry that will outlast even the most audacious political memes.
