Renowned Take That singer Mark Owen is preparing for a surprising lifestyle change, leaving behind the luxury of pop stardom. He’s set his sights on a thrilling road trip in a campervan, aiming to visit the iconic Graceland—the home of Elvis Presley—after the conclusion of The Circus Live Tour this year.

At 54 years old, Mark shared, “I want to travel across America and visit Graceland in an RV.” Reflecting on his past caravan experiences, he expressed excitement over the prospect of this journey, as he hasn’t driven one before.

Mark recounted a missed opportunity from his Nashville visit: “While there, I learned we were just an hour from Graceland. I regret not making that short trip. It’s something I’ve always wanted to do.”

While Mark is excited about this journey, he faces challenges in convincing his family, including his wife Emma and their three children, to join him on this adventure. “Emma said she’d likely ‘kill me’ if she spent eight days in an RV. My kids aren’t keen either,” he admitted. The thought of traveling alone feels lonely, but he has considered bringing along his dog, Arnold.

Besides his RV dreams, Mark has a musical aspiration as well. He expressed a desire to perform at Glastonbury, alongside his Take That bandmates, Gary Barlow and Howard Donald. “I’ve attended Glastonbury as a fan many times and would love to see our name on those iconic festival posters,” he said.

Glastonbury isn’t scheduled for this year but is set to return in 2027, with festival organizers already reaching out to potential headliners. Mark’s dream of performing there remains alive, and as he embarks on his unique road trip, fans will be eager to see how his journey unfolds.
