In our current economic climate, even the most notorious serial killers find themselves in need of a little extra cash. Remember Michael Myers? Three years ago, he was in dire straits, wandering the streets of El Paso, searching for work between his, shall we say, “creative endeavors.” To this day, I can’t help but wonder whether he’s managed to snag a decent job or if he’s still lurking around, hopeful that someone will overlook his rather checkered past.

The Undead Photographer Behind the Camera
Enter Stephen Flores, a local photographer determined to inject some humor into the mix. Inspired by similar photoshoots where our favorite masked killer was captured in various cities, Stephen decided to give Michael a local twist — the kind that only iconic El Paso landmarks could provide.
“We decided to hit up all the tourist traps,” Stephen quipped. “You know, spots like Chico’s Tacos and the scenic drive. Anywhere that screams ‘El Paso’ in a way even a villain could appreciate.”
Much to everyone’s surprise, these whimsical photos took off like wildfire on social media. The community couldn’t get enough, and the big question loomed: What’s next for El Paso’s one and only slasher in search of employment?
Masked Hustler: A Job for Everyone
It turns out that even a spectral figure like Michael Myers can adopt the “grind culture.” This year, Stephen took it upon himself to help Michael in the unconventional quest for employment.
Yes, you heard that correctly. Even masked murderers require side gigs. Together, they traipsed around El Paso, photographing Michael with local businesses, desperately trying to make him look employable.
Michael Myers: An Unexpected Joiner at Townsquare Media
In his quest for work, Michael made a audacious leap into the broadcasting realm, even applying to be an on-air DJ at KISS-FM. Spoiler alert: he’s no chatterbox.
His foray into media wasn’t as smooth as one might hope — it was more of a horror story. You probably won’t catch Michael giving you weather updates anytime soon, but should you see him out and about, feel free to capture the moment. He’s the friendly neighborhood slasher, it seems.
Weather Forecast: Grim with a Chance of Blood
After bombing his shot at KISS, our friendly killer decided to try his luck at KVIA, contemplating a career in weather reporting. Irony was not lost on Stephen, as he declared, “If he worked there, I guess it would be a pretty ‘chilling’ forecast!”
While the chances of Michael becoming El Paso’s next Weatherman are about as likely as finding a Halloween decoration out of season, his antics bring lighthearted humor to the town. Thanks to this playful perspective, the community has embraced him, and nobody seems too concerned about his… unusual resume.
Stay in the know about what’s next for El Paso’s favorite masked icon by following Stephen on Instagram. Who knows what new career path Michael will try next? Maybe he’ll open a haunted taco stand!
