NICKELODEON DECIDES TO KEEP LAUGHING WITH DANGER FORCE AND TYLER PERRY’S YOUNG DYLAN

Oh, and six more episodes of Side Hustle because apparently, who needs a budget?

    Sharing is caring! @Nickelodeon #DangerForce #YoungDylan #SideHustle

HOLLYWOOD, Calif.—March 18, 2021—In an act of pure financial audacity, Nickelodeon has decided to give the thumbs-up to a second season of Danger Force, the live-action kids’ show that’s more popular with kids aged 6-11 than chocolate milk on a hot day. It’s also snatched up another season of Tyler Perry’s Young Dylan, ensuring that chaotic family dynamics will continue to rule the airwaves. As if that wasn’t enough, they’re adding six more episodes of Side Hustle to the mix. Because who wouldn’t want 26 total episodes of budgetary shenanigans?

In the upcoming season of Danger Force (a whopping 26 episodes; photo evidence above), our fearless SW.A.G. Academy students, the Swellview superheroes in training, will continue their valiant efforts to master their superpowers. The catch? They must keep their identities a secret while juggling the high stakes of superhero life and the perils of homework. Chapa (Havan Flores) and her gang must foil bigger villains while simultaneously convincing their moms they are in fact, just normal kids who really, really love algebra. Danger Force is brought to you by Christopher J. Nowak—who found time between his other masterpieces, Henry Danger and Sam & Cat—to tackle this monumental task.

Meanwhile, Tyler Perry’s Young Dylan is gearing up for a second season filled with 20 episodes of hilarity. Watch as hip-hop wannabe Dylan (Dylan Gilmer) tackles the suburbs like it’s an Olympic sport. Living with his uncle Myles and the gang, Dylan embarks on a journey to stardom while navigating a minefield of family chaos. Tyler Perry himself is at the helm, keeping the laughs rolling and the drama boiling in good ol’ sitcom fashion.

Ah, and let’s not forget Side Hustle, where friends Lex (Jules LeBlanc) and Presley (Jayden Bartels) pick up odd jobs for a bit of cash—because true friendship is built on the foundation of questionable financial decisions and minor firefighting. After an explosive incident ruins a boat, these budding entrepreneurs concoct a plan so convoluted you’ll wonder if they should be running a startup or a circus. Nick’s programming continues to put the “fun” in dysfunctional.

Overseeing this creative chaos at Nickelodeon are Shauna Phelan and Zack Olin, who are clearly pros at managing creative disasters—er, I mean, productions. Meanwhile, Brian Banks, Omar Camacho, and their team make sure that hilarity ensues while keeping the chaos within budgetary limits (whatever that means in a world of boat explosions).

Nickelodeon, now in its 41st year (that’s more than some people’s entire lives), continues to reign as the number-one entertainment brand for kids. The network ensures kids feel like they’re the center of the universe and lets them watch shows about self-important adolescents dabbling in superheroics and stardom. It’s a pure masterclass in prioritizing fun over funds. For more information or all the colorful chaos, kindly visit nickpress.com. Nickelodeon and its accompanying titles are not just trademarks of ViacomCBS Inc.—they’re icons of a generation.
